Trip to Chester Zoo
It was a sunny morning one Saturday in July when we embarked on our trip to Chester Zoo. All the girls were very excited and looking forward to seeing their favourite animals. The girls also had to think about which animal they would like to adopt as part of the Adopt An Animal Scheme at the zoo.
We started off at the elephants that were all outside enjoying the sunshine and mud. We had a very busy morning watching the camels and giraffes. Then it was time for lunch with us all tucking into our sandwiches.
The afternoon went by very quickly as we went to the ape house to watch all the monkeys. We ended the afternoon with a trip on the monorail and finally spent all our money in the shop.
After lots of deliberating the girls have decided to adopt the penguins this year.
